The packet contains the patterns and instructions for all of the pieces shown in View 2. The Elizabetheans had common, basic shapes and silhouettes but made their clothes rich and varied in color, texture and decoration, often combining several different velvets and brocades in a single garment. Because the decoration was so extensive and varied, the trimming is left up to your creativity and imagination. Braid was used to cover seams and edge necklines, wings, wristbands, etc. Embroidery with silk or metallic thread and using pearls and gems was common. Ribbon bows, rosettes, and metal and jewelled buttons were also used.
