1875 Ball Gown Basque

This Ballgown Basque Bodice fits just off the shoulder for evening wear. It has an extended waist, pleated basque, and a point in front. The closure is in the center front, with either buttons or hooks and eyes. The ball gown sleeve is a small pouf. This style is particularly suited to 1870 - 1876, but can be used for other periods as well. Heavy decorations at the neckline will give an elegant look to the bodice. This pattern is drafted based on a tailoring method actually used in the 1870's. Each size is hand drawn, not scaled. All of the bodice seams are true to the era, and it is designed to fit snugly over a corset. All sizes included in the package.
