Product Description

Suitable for late 1770s-1780s, this 18th c. Fasionable Gown needs to be made in silk or lightweight cotton fabrics.  Fine pleating of the gown skirts release into poufs tied from the inside in the polonaise style or left free.  The back of the bodice is pleated to fit the body.  Petticoat instructions and a pattern for a bum roll are included.  Complete directions with color photographs will walk you through the process using 18th century construction.   Measure while wearing a pair of stays at the widest point of the bust.  Two sizes are included in each pattern, along with a documentation card with the details of the original gown.
