Size: Medium.

This pattern was published by The Demorest Magazine Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "A graceful design consisting of nine gores. May be worn with any style of jacket, waist or basque. The front fits trimly without darts and the fullness in the back is massed in gathers." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1897.

Suggested fabrics: Silk and woolen fabrics. The popular finish for the bottom of skirts was a deep facing of haircloth and a velveteen binding. The colors were warm - vivid, garish and very startling.

Materials required: 11 Yds. 20" wide.

This Vintage Revivals pattern is only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. This pattern is printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.
