This pattern was published by The Butterick Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' or Misses' Girdles or Bodice Belts, with or without the suspenders and in shirred or plain style." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1899.
Suggested fabrics: Velvet, ribbon, and silk. The colors were darker shades of blue, green, red, brown, gray and black.
