This pattern was published by The Chicago Mail Order Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Slip-on Dress. Waist Fronts Underfaced and Rolled with Collar Forming Revers and an Inset Vest. Skirt with Box-Plaits at the Center, Joining Waist in Front; Back in One piece. Long Bishop Sleeves. Separate Belt". Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1927-1928.
Suggested fabrics: Slip-on Dresses were made of wool Cherilaine, silk flat crepe, silk crepe satin, and wool French crepe. The colors were black, brown, bisque, tan, blue, navy blue, mahogany, and powder blue.
