This pattern was published by The New Idea Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' Dress. Suitable for maternity or general wear. Having a waist in open neck, with flaring collar which may be rolled down, one-seam sleeves in full length in either of two styles or in shorter length, an over-blouse closed at shoulder and underarm, and a three-piece gathered skirt. Collar and over-blouse may be omitted." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1916-1917.
Suggested fabrics: Serge, gabardine, light wool poplin, silk crepe, and sheer fabrics. The colors were black, navy blue, green, wine, Russian green, light blue, pink, white and taupe gray.
