This pattern was published by The Ladies Home Journal Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Ladies' and Misses' princess coat, made in seven sections, slightly fitted through waistline. Front edges underfaced and rolled with attached collar. One-seam sleeves with deep, turn-back cuffs." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1930-1931.
Suggested fabrics: Wool 'nobby' tweed, wool 'helga' broadcloth, wool monotone, wool 'imperial' crepe broadcloth, wool and silk fancy tweed, wool repbloom and fancy travel tweed. The colors were tan, black, navy blue, deer tan, and gray.
Materials required: 3-1/2 Yds. 54" fabric.
