Pattern includes instructions for custom fitting and authentic embellishment.Pattern is for dress with facings at front opening, hem, and side slits.
Suggested fabrics: Light to medium-weight silk; lightweight brocade and jacquard weaves; satin; rayon or blends.

I have loved Folkwear patterns for over 3 decades - making my wedding gown from them, and other artsy clothing. They are easy to use and follow. This pattern is for my daughter, adopted from China, for prom. I really love the inserts about the history of the dress and suggestions to make it authentic.
