Unwieldy sewing instructions

This is the first pattern I have purchased from Amazon Dry Goods. The patterns are printed on heavy weight paper 36" x 74" which is a good idea. The instructions are printed on the same paper, measuring 36" x 33" making them unwieldy at best. I don't understand why the instructions are not printed separately on 8.5" x 11 paper. I now have to measure, mark and cut the instructions into an equal and manageable size. Once I do this I can test out the instructions and construct the garment.
